  As a General Contractor for 34 years, I spent a lot of time in the sun without protection.
  And in doing so I developed skin cancer, which Dr, Chiu at Diablo Dermatelogy has
  been treating for the past few years and has managed to keep the cancers under control
  I always look forward to going in to see Dr, Chiu and his friendly staff. I took my
  Grandson in to see Dr, Chiu about some warts he had on his hands, he had been to
  several other Doctors without any success, after only three treatments with Dr, Chiu the
  warts completely went away and have not returned. He is one happy young man, he says the girls will now hold hands with him. Dr, Chiu asks about my Grandson every time I go in for a visit.

  I waited an hour and never got to see the doc. The staff did not believe that my insurance was fully covered and I owed no co-pay/co-insurance. So they called insurance to verify while I waited. They never got hold of insurance co. cos they were already closed(on east coast). They insulted me by not honoring my appointment because they did not believe I was honest about my insurance. After I got home, then they called and told me their billing office confirmed that I owed no $$ for the appointment and asked when Iwanted to reschedule. Seriously????? I will never go again. They need to get into the 21st century, verify insurance before making an appt, and treat me with respect, especially since I signed the financial responsibility statement stating I was liable for costs if insurance didn't pay. Stdvpractice for Balfour Dermatology, Sutter, and John Muir is to bill me after receiving insurance payment .
